Our artist in residence Chris Kro had a new baby!!! Screw announcements about a show or some other lame-ass thing I'm doing. He's making real-live human beings and being a real Dad to them. Makes writing a song seem kinda "weak"...

Okay, y'all you need to come to Sweethearts this week. It's a couple of folk's birthdays (Peggy and Lu) and there's some new songs and we just generally need to inject some life into things. I haven't had a complete crazy-ass Sweethearts in a while so I wanna get a little nutty this week. Circe Link is opening at 9. Come see her. Also, go see Ronnie Mack's barndance the night before, (tuesday) at it's new location at the Thunderbird in NoHo. That place rocks and James Intveld and Justin Curtis and Mark Insley are all playin'... two nights out won't kill ya... but save some for me on Wed.
