There's a new Rant.

Back to the Lab... in our on-going efforts to catch the sound of The Snake Handlers on tape, (or computer disk as it is today) we've done some more work. We got to thinkin' that our stuff had been too polite and perfect so we decided (with some help from a friend) to just get in a little room and rock. It sounds like a bar fight... all of us, amps, drums and me singing live in a little room. It's rough and raw, and yeah we meant to leave the mistakes and no we don't think we oughta fix it with the computer or overdub it. Hope you like it, we had a blast... We recut "Music Made A Man Out Of Me" and covered "Sin City" with all apologies to the Burrito Bros. for what we did to their little waltz. It's a different time... drastic measures are needed... click those song titles to go download the tracks.

SO, I'm playin' on this Sunday the 26th at Tangiers. Just me, no band, doing some songs about 9:30pm. It's over on Hillhurst, across from The Derby, cool room, nice folks, kinda fancy, but they let me in so go figure... It's free too, I'm pretty sure.
